  Oljni filtri za avtomobile in motocikle K&N so priljubljeni zaradi svoje vzdržljivosti in enostavne zamenjave. Večina oljnih filtrov ima na ohišje privarjeno matico, ki omogoča menjavo z običajnim orodjem.

Oljni filtri K&N imajo številne lastnosti, ki presegajo običajne zahteve večine vozil. Z uporabo debelejšega materiala plašča povečamo njegovo odpornost proti predrtju. Robustna konstrukcija prenese višje oljne pritiske (v tekmovalnem okolju), ne da bi prio tem počila. V matico je izvrtana luknja za pritrditev varnostne žice, ki je potrebna v nekaterih vrstah obratov. Žica preprečuje, da bi poškodovani filter padel na dirkališče, kjer bi lahko ogrožal druga vozila. Te dodatne funkcije so zagotovilo za stranke, ki zahtevajo najboljše.
