This gold heat shield is made from fiberglass and aluminium mylar. It is for managing medium-high radiant heat issues. It can withstand 250°C of direct contact heat and 600°C of continuous radiant heat. It is capable of reflecting up to 90% of radiant heat (with the aluminized side facing the heat source).
Applications include: firewall, floor pan DPF, fuel cell insulation
