FORGE turbo inlet adaptor for Seat Arona 1.0 TSI (2022-)

With the growing interest in tuning VAG 1.0 TSI engines, Forge Motorsport's R&D department has developed an enlarged turbo elbow to extract extra power. This product cannot be used with FMINLH26. The OEM part’s design balances performance, efficiency, and refinement, but Forge Motorsport has focused on enhancing performance by removing internal restrictions and enlarging and smoothing out the pathway to the turbo.

The FMTIA13 is constructed from reinforced multi-ply silicone, which is more durable than the OEM plastic pipe and doesn't suffer from heat soak like metallic products. Its enlarged capacity and less restrictive surface area route air directly into the turbocharger, allowing a greater volume of air to be compressed. This positively affects vehicle acceleration after long deceleration or between gear changes by maintaining more air within the inlet tract to the turbocharger.

This modification is essential for tuning the 1.0 TSI engine (DLAA, DLA), as it showed positive gains in the previous generation VAG 1.0 TSI. On a tuned vehicle, consistent gains of 3-5 bhp can be expected, depending on the vehicle's state of tune.
