Temperature Sensor Adaptor Kit - 38mm Inline Adapter

This simple, economical Adaptor Kit allows easy fitting directly into the top radiator hose. Just fit the probe into the compression fitting, remove about 17mm (2/3”) of radiator hose, fit the adaptor between each hose and secure the hose clamps. The kit comes complete, as shown, for a watertight and effective probe installation. Suits all temperature sensors with either a 5mm (3/16”) or a 6mm (1/4” outside diameter and temperature gauge senders with 6mm (1/4”) NPT thread.

The Inline Sensor Adaptor simply fits into your engine’s top radiator hose. The adaptor ends for hose fitting are 38mm in size.

• With the use of our 3mm adaptor sleeve (not included in kit), this can be increased to 44mm to 47mm (Part #18510)
• With the use of our 6mm adaptor sleeve (Optional), this can be increased to 51-54mm (Part #18511)

Two 1/4" NPT holes allow the fitment of a sensor and or air bleed. Should you only need one hole, a bung is included.

Suits temperature sensors with either a 5mm or a 6mm outside diameter and temperature gauge senders with ¼” NPT thread.

Note: This is an accessory for use with #0401, #0404, #0444 range and #0455 Thermatic® Switches.
